Classes & Descriptions
Parent child class - 2-3 years old
movement basics and coordination- ballet and tap.
Parents stay with their children the whole time in the class. Class requirements- must be potty trained prior to start date. Dancers must wear a leotard and tan dance tights. Must have Capezio pink ballet shoes and tan tap shoes and hair must be secured away from the face. Dancers will perform in the end of year recital without parents being on stage. Costumes will be ordered and billed with tuition.
Preschool combination class 3-5 years old
Ballet and tap.
Class requirements: none.
Dancers must wear a leotard and tan dance tights. Must have Capezio pink ballet shoes and tan tap shoes and hair must be secured away from the face. Dancers will perform in the end of year recital. Costumes will be ordered and billed with tuition.
Ballet 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Class requirements: Ballet 1 must have completed at least one year of dance prior all other levels are assessment based and decisions are made at teachers discretion. Dancers must wear a leotard and either tan or pink dance tights. Dancers. must have capezio pink ballet shoes and dancers over the age of 6 must have Hanami canvas light pink ballet shoes. Dancers will perform a ballet dance in the end of year recital. Costumes will be ordered and billed with tuition.
Tap 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Class requirements: Tap 1 must have completed at least one year of tap prior all other levels are assessment based and decisions are made at teachers discretion. Dancers must wear a leotard or dance shorts and a cropped dance top (nothing baggy no t-shirts) with tan dance tights and black cadence tap shoes from Capezio. Dancers will perform a tap dance in the end of year recital. Costumes will be ordered and billed with tuition
Jazz 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Class requirements: Jazz 1 must have completed at least one year of jazz prior all other levels are assessment based and decisions are made at teachers discretion. Dancers must wear a leotard or dance shorts and a cropped dance top(nothing baggy no t-shirts) with tan dance tights and E-Series Carmel jazz shoes from capezio. Dancers will perform a jazz dance in the end of year recital. Costumes will be ordered and billed with tuition
Hip Hop 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Class requirements: Hip hop 1 must be 4 years old or older, all other levels are assessment based and decisions are made at teachers discretion. Dancers must wear dance shorts or leggings and can wear dance top with a baggy tshirt or sweatshirt overtop (no inappropriate words or images) and black and white that have NEVER been outside. These sneakers will be used for dance class only as the oils from the ground will damage the dance floors. Dancers will perform a hip hop dance in the end of year recital. Costumes will be ordered and billed with tuition
Acrobatics 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Class requirements: Acro 1 must be at least 4 years old, all other levels are assessment based and decisions are made at teachers discretion. Dancers must wear a leotard or dance shorts and a cropped dance top (nothing baggy no t-shirts) with no tights and bare feet. Dancers will perform an acro dance in the end of year recital. Costumes will be ordered and billed with tuition
Beginner Teen combination 10-18 years old
Ballet, tap and jazz, switching between weeks. Week 1 ballet and tap week 2 ballet and jazz. Class requirements age 10+. Dancers must wear a leotard and tan dance tights and must have Hanami canvas light pink ballet shoes, E-Series Carmel jazz shoes, and black cadence tap shoes all from Capezio. Dancers will perform either a tap or jazz dance in the end of year recital. Costumes will be ordered and billed with tuition.

Meet Our Dance Director!
Izabel Gray was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri where she started her dance career at only 18 months old! Her mom is a dancer herself and has been teaching dance for over 30 years. Izabel started competing in dance at three years old and never looked back! She has won countless top awards at both regional and national levels and in all styles of dance. She began her teaching career at 14 years old and loves sharing her passion for dance with the next generation. She has choreographed several top award winning pieces at both regional andnational levels in solos, duet/trios, small and large groups, and in all different styles.
Izabel has also been a judge for dance competitions as well so she has an extra “edge” when it comes to knowing what will score well! Izabel has trained with some of the industries best including Christina Grady (lead dancer for Lady Gaga), Nikki Snelson (Broadway extraordinaire), Shelly Hutchinson (choreographer for TV show So You Think You Can Dance), and many many more! She has taught for 14 years children of the ages 2-18 in the styles of acrobatics, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, improvisation, jazz, jazz funk, lyrical, musical theatre, modern, rhythm tap, and tap. Izabel is so excited for Magnitude Dance Company and calls it her passion project!
